Rush River Trail Riders Snowmobile Club

EST. 1970
In early March 1970, a group of enthusiastic snowmobilers met at the El Paso Town Hall on the banks of the Rush River. This group discussed the possibility of organizing a snowmobile club. There were 15 people in attendance. By the end of the meeting officers and directors were elected and a name for the club was decided. The official name was The Rush River Trail Riders. In the fall of 1970 the club members decided to build a clubhouse on the banks of the Lost Creek on a piece of property donated by one of the members. The fall of 1972 the clubhouse was completed and open for business.
The clubhouse served as a warm place to take a break from riding, boast of your riding adventures, get a bite to eat and hold monthly meetings. It is truly a family place. Many families started to join the club and gather there and still do today. There have been updates and improvements made to the clubhouse by donations of time and talents of some of our original charter members, retired members and current members. Our clubhouse would not be what it is today without the help of local business owners willing to donate to keep this exciting sport alive here in Pierce County.
Pierce County has 223 miles of trails through some of the most scenic and interesting trails in western Wisconsin. Our trails range from open fields, rolling hills and valleys, winding wooded trails and creek beds.
